The Izmir Adnan Menderes Airport is one of the central airports in Turkey. It boasts connections to several dozen locations both domestically and internationally. In contrast to Istanbul's Ataturk Airport, Izmir's ADB is smaller and more accessible when entering and exiting Izmir.
Located in the Gaziemir, Izmir, it was named after former Turkish prime minister Adnan Menderes. The airport hosts a new international terminal, opened in 2006, with bus and train service to downtown areas of Izmir.

International:
International terminals are close together, with only one major entrance and exit area. The mood is often relaxed and quiet, aside from congested hours.
Terminal numbers on the Arrival & Departure floors are from 26-34
Domestic:
The domestic terminal is a bit more hectic and busy, as there are numerous flights from all around Turkey entering into the airport.
The terminal entrance and exit is often organized through one area, to the right side of the domestic terminal.
