what is the fastest way

   Hi,
   does anyone know how the overnight bus runs from Istanbul to Izmir?? what is the schedule? what time will arrive in Izmir in the morning? which bus station? how much?? will there be a stop ?? i will be joining the tour to go the southern part of Turkey at 9am.
   
   i would've gone by the overnight train, but the train arrives at 8:40am. i can't make it in 20 min.

   you can find buses almost every hours. it takes 10 hours to travel between izmir and istanbul.

   We prefer "Turkish Raki" but it is OK to buy us a bottle of cold "Efes" beer to keep us working

   Hi
   I was in Turkey a year or so ago and the buses were fantastic. We organised ours through Walkabout Travel http://www.walkabout.com.tr they made it really easy and picked us up and took us to the bus station. I think it took around 9-10 hours with stops along the way
