Trip from Istanbul to Cappadocia

   I am visiting Istanbul and the west coast of Turkey in early May, and I planning to spend one day in my itinerary while I am in Istanbul.

   I would like to go to Cappadocia for the day - fly down in the early morning, see as much as I can, and fly back late at night.

   I know it won't be possible to see very much, but even a few hours in this incredible landscape would be fabulous. Any suggestions?

   this is possible.
   there are early and late night flights ever day.
   just make a good plan and go.
   there are also daily trips departing every day.
   I would buy one of those daily trips to make the trip smoother.
   Only down side of those trips is, they will push you to go to a carpet shop or a similar shop during the trip.
