help how to deal with borders

   Hi all, well I've finally locked in my major routes for the trip starting in late september. There is only one hurdle. I wish to travel from Egypt to Turkey via Israel. I'm concerned with
   A: Only being able to organise a visa for Syria from home, Australia and it will only last 3 months. That is no good.
   B: getting turned away at the border.
   
   Does anyone know of a ferry from Israel to Turkey?
   
   Any help would be greatly received..
