Do i really need an itinerary?
-
My girlfriend and I are going to Turkey at the end of February. We havn't set any kind of itinerary and we will be there for 16 days. if anyone has any info on there experiences in egypt that they might think helpful (places to see, booking day trips, boat trips, places to avoid etc. etc.) Part of me just wants to plan it as we go but I'm not sure if that is the best idea.Posted 8 months ago #

You dont need to plan ahead but it would be nice have some ideas about what to do, what to see.
February is off season for tourism so you dont need to make reservations. But on the other hand it will rain and maybe snow most of the time. So traveling can be hard.
I would recommend Istanbul, Cappadocia, Pamukkale and Ephesus. This is like a half Turkey tour and can be easily done in 16 days.Posted 8 months ago # -

Bus to Selcuk, visit Ephesus, virgin Mary, 1-2 days.
Bus to Izmir for a dinner by the sea. 1 night

You can also spend a night at Sirince during your stay in Ephesus.
It is alittle old greek village, known for wine and its old houses. very romantic.Posted 8 months ago # -
If you want to know a little more about the regional wars and their influence, you shouldn't skim Troy.
